NAS wins ISAGO Certification

The region’s fastest growing ground handling company National Aviation Services (NAS) today announced that it is the third company in the world to win the acclaimed ISAGO (IATA Safety Audit for Ground Operators) certification

The implementation of the IATA Safety Audit for Ground Operations (ISAGO) aims to improve safety and cut airline costs by drastically reducing ground accidents and injuries. This is the latest in line of certification and audit procedures being set by IATA, the world’s leading aviation industry authority.While airlines have their own operational practices appropriate to one common audit, things are more complex for ground handlers, covering a wide scope of activities as diverse as passenger and baggage handling, load control, cargo handling, etc. ISAGO was instituted to respond to the diversity of the ground services provided by ground handlers all over the world by providing a uniform set of standards and procedures that would promote safety, eliminate redundancies, save of costs and ultimately improve on quality.
